Foxfire Golf Club is a Public, 36 hole golf facility located in Lockbourne, Ohio. The facility has two 18-hole golf courses. The are The Foxfire Golf course and The Players Club Golf course.
The Foxfire was the first of the two courses having opened over 20 years earlier than The Players Club Course. The foxfire opened in 1974. The course was designed by Jack Kidwell and Michael Hurdzan.
Foxfire Course is a challenge, but more forgiving than The Players Club. Foxfire has water hazards coming into play on six of the back nine holes. The fairways are more forgiving on this course. The signature hole is #17, a 629-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot over a creek, then an uphill approach shot to a green that is protected by water on the right and trees on the left.
Blue tees: par-72, 6,891 yards, 72.7 / 122
White tees: par-72, 6,576 yards, 71.1 / 118
Red tees: par-72, 5,175 yards, 69.1 / 112
